I am Alex Rabindranath - Founder of Kin-Fit. I've loved moving and playing sports since I was a toddler and continually love studying and learning about how our bodies and minds work. I've dedicated my studies and work career to understanding how we work and perform optimally... and I want to pass that information along to you, in anyway that I can, so that you can live, feel, and perform optimally in all aspects of your fitness and health.
I am a Registered Kinesiologist (R.Kin) and am currently finishing my Masters of Science in Kinesiology and Health Sciences, as well as the Neuroscience Graduate Diploma Program at York University. I completed my BA in Kinesiology and Health Science along with a Minor in Psychology at York University, graduating Cum Laude and on the Dean's Honour Roll.
In addition to academic accolades (Member of the Tait McKenzie Honour Society, Dean's Honour Roll throughout undergrad), I've maintained a strong fitness background working at York University Fitness Centre, as a Kinesiologist at High Performance Health clinic and Move to Heal, teaching fitness classes for my own business and The University of Toronto, and as a Tier 3 Trainer at Equinox Fitness Clubs.
I'm always looking for new research, exercises, and workouts, to enhance my own training and that of my clients and fitness classes. I can ensure you that you will be provided with recent and well researched health and fitness techniques and procedures to help you attain your goals.
If you need help with starting a fitness routine, 1 on 1 or group training, Kinesiologist services, learning how to workout, meditate, or run efficiently and effectively get in touch and I'll do my best to help you reach your goals!
